EMCS Engineering Futures is a non-profit mission-driven organization empowering future civil engineering leaders by providing financial support for educational opportunities.

2026 Scholarships

Eligible applicants:
Students planning to study civil or environmental engineering, surveying, or a closely related field are eligible. Applicants must be in their first or second year of post-secondary school, and scholarships will be awarded for use in the recipient’s upcoming Fall semester. Current employees of, and family members (including spouse or domestic partner, brothers and sisters, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and spouses or domestic partners of brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren), of employees of EMCS, Inc., a Wisconsin corporation (EMCS), are not eligible to apply for scholarships.

Number and size of scholarship awards:
Between one (1) and five (5) scholarships are awarded annually, determined by the assessment of information submitted by eligible students in their scholarship applications. The scholarships will be $3,000 for applicants enrolled at a 4-year school.

Schedule:

  • Scholarship applications available: December 2025/January 2026
  • Scholarships due: March 16, 2026
  • Scholarships winners notified: April 2026

  • Transcripts of college academic records (required)
  • Reference(s) (letter(s) of support) (one (1) minimum)
  • A clear, one-page essay outlining personal reasons for studying civil engineering/surveying or related field and future career objectives. AI tools should not be used.
